The portfolio contains a selection of digital and analog works that have shaped much of my research and work in the field rhetoric and writing. Each of these works may be viewed and even explored by simply clicking on the image or appropriate link. They also contain a short description indicating the ways in which they fill a need, demonstrate particular techniques, and work towards ongoing course and curricular development. A key component to my digital work rests with relayability-the process of helping others understand why and how I encountered these works so that they might learn or better their work. With this in mind, I tried to demonstrate pieces that can also be created with a relatively low (or no) budget and within a beginner to intermediate threshold level. The end goal is not just to produce work for the field, but to also use concepts and tools students could reasonably access in my courses or with any collaborators.
As a side note, volume levels vary by program and by machine, so please have volume controls at the ready. When listening to the sonic project, consider that certain tones may be heard differently (or not at all) due to frequency ranges and the hearing ability of the listener.
Enjoy the portfolio, look for more soon as I continue to develop material and get in touch with me if you have any questions.
